Kirby Hall

An Elizabethan mansion, begun in 1570 by Sir Humphrey Stafford and completed by Sir Christopher Hatton, with 17thC alterations by Nicholas Stone. It was abandoned in the late 18thC. The 17thC garden is currently being restored and a topiary display has recently been put in place.
